Mostly Sunny and Hot Weather Expected in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The National Weather Service in San Angelo forecasts mostly sunny and hot weather for today, with high temperatures ranging from the mid-90s to around 100 degrees.

Cities like Rotan, Sterling City, and San Angelo are expected to reach highs of 100 degrees, while Mertzon and Haskell are forecasted to see temperatures of 98 degrees. Other areas, such as Abilene, Albany, and Snyder, will experience highs in the upper 90s.

Extended Forecast:

  • Friday: Morning lows in the lower to mid-70s with partly cloudy skies. Afternoon highs will be in the mid-90s to near 100. There is a slight chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms along the I-10 corridor, with southeast winds at 5 to 15 mph.
  • Saturday: Similar to Friday, expect morning lows in the lower to mid-70s and partly cloudy conditions. Afternoon highs will range from the mid-80s to mid-90s, with isolated showers and thunderstorms possible south of the Big Country. South winds will blow at 5 to 15 mph, gusting up to 25 mph.
  • Sunday: The day will be partly cloudy with morning lows in the lower to mid-70s and afternoon highs in the lower to upper 90s. South winds will continue at 10 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph.
  • Monday: Expect partly cloudy skies with morning lows in the lower to mid-70s and afternoon highs in the lower 90s to near 100. Winds from the south will blow at 10 to 15 mph, gusting to 25 mph.
  • Tuesday: Morning lows will be in the lower to upper 70s, with partly cloudy skies. Afternoon highs are predicted to range from the mid-90s to 102 degrees, with south winds at 10 to 15 mph, gusting to 25 mph.
