San Angelo to Sizzle with Triple-Digit Temps Over Weekend

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - San Angelo will experience a warming and drying trend starting today, according to the National Weather Service. 

Afternoon high temperatures are forecasted to reach into the mid-80s to mid-90s, accompanied by southeast winds blowing at 10 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph.

The forecast for today, June 21, predicts mostly sunny skies with highs near 93 degrees. 

 

Tonight, temperatures will drop to around 71 degrees under partly cloudy skies, with winds from the east-southeast at 5 to 10 mph and gusts as high as 20 mph.

Looking ahead, the warming trend continues into the weekend and early next week. 

On Saturday, the high is expected to be around 97 degrees, with a low of 72 degrees in the evening. South winds will remain consistent at 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday’s forecast includes sunny and hot conditions with temperatures reaching 100 degrees. The night will see a low of around 74 degrees, with south-southeast winds at 10 mph.

As the week progresses, Monday and Tuesday will maintain the high temperatures. Monday will be sunny and hot with highs near 100 degrees and lows around 77 degrees. 

Tuesday is expected to be the hottest day, with highs peaking at 102 degrees and evening lows around 77 degrees. Daytime temperatures will trend hotter this weekend into early next week, with mostly sunny skies predicted. 

Morning low clouds might appear over southern counties, but overall, the region will experience dry and breezy conditions.
