ShareLunker Fished Out Of Twin Buttes Reservoir

Hernandez submitted a 10.15-pound bass caught from Twin Buttes Reservoir on May 13, 2024. He was honored with the Strike King Elite Class recognition for his catch.

Houston submitted a 10.40-pound bass caught from O.H. Ivie Reservoir on May 24, 2024, earning her the Strike King Elite Class recognition.

The TPWD's Toyota ShareLunker program, established in 1986, partners with anglers to promote and enhance bass fishing in Texas. The program runs year-round, from January 1 through December 31, and offers anglers opportunities to be recognized for their achievements and contributions.

Anglers who catch a largemouth bass weighing at least 8 pounds or measuring 24 inches can participate by entering their catch information online or through the ShareLunker mobile app. Participants receive a Catch Kit based on their fish's weight class, including an achievement decal, merchandise, and other giveaways.

Additionally, all entrants are eligible for a $5,000 shopping spree grand prize drawing and other prizes. Anglers who donate a 13-pound or larger bass for spawning are entered into another drawing for a $5,000 shopping spree, VIP access to the Toyota ShareLunker Annual Awards event, and more.

The program features several levels of achievement:

• Lunker Legacy Class: For anglers who catch and donate a 13+ pound bass during the spawning period, supporting the selective breeding program.
• Lew's Legend Class: Recognizing anglers who have caught bass weighing 13 pounds or more.
• Strike King Elite Class: For those who catch a double-digit bass.
• Bass Pro Shops Lunker Class: For anglers catching a bass weighing at least 8 pounds or measuring 24 inches.
