Tornado Watch Issued for San Angelo and Surrounding Counties

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A Tornado Watch is in effect for San Angelo and surrounding counties until 11 p.m. tonight. 

 

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued the watch due to the development of several strong to severe thunderstorms along the dryline.

A severe storm is currently moving into San Angelo, bringing the potential for very large hail and damaging winds. Residents are advised to stay alert and monitor local weather updates.

Meteorologists are closely monitoring the situation and urge people in the affected areas to take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.
