BALMORHEA, Texas — Balmorhea State Park announces the reopening of its campground to the public, featuring reservable sites and upgraded facilities, including enhanced water lines, electrical systems, paved areas, and a new, state-of-the-art dark sky compliant restroom facility.
The park is proud to introduce three new ADA accessible RV sites, ensuring accessibility for all visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of Balmorhea.
However, visitors planning to use the park's pool should note that it will be closed for annual cleaning from May 6 to May 10. During these dates, campers will not have access to the pool.
A limited selection of online reservations will be available starting May 2, with a full and expanded offering of sites becoming available on May 11 after the pool maintenance is completed. Reservations can be secured by calling 512-389-8900 or booking online through the park's website.
