SAN ANGELO, TX — This April, the San Angelo State Park has scheduled events ranging from wildlife feeding and astronomy nights to interactive hikes that combine technology with nature exploration.
On April 20, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., an event focused on discovering plants in the park through apps will take place at the playground.
The park is also honoring Earth Day on April 21 by encouraging visitors to participate in a cleanup effort, providing trash bags at the South Gatehouse Entrance.
To wrap up the month, an interactive "Hiking with Apps" session on April 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. will teach attendees how to use the All Trails app while exploring the Burkett Trail.
There is a $4 entrance fee required to enter the park for anyone aged 13 and up.
