SAN ANGELO, TX - The 6th Legacy Class ShareLunker bass has been reeled in from O.H. Ivie.
This is the 13th Legacy Class ShareLunker for the season across the state.
Larry R Walker successfully caught ShareLunker 663, weighing in at 13.83 pounds.
Walker's achievement is part of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's Toyota ShareLunker Program, which aims to enhance the genetics of bass populations in Texas.
By participating, anglers like Walker contribute to conservation efforts and the sport's future by allowing their catches to be used in a selective breeding program.
Anglers who enter data for any lunker they catch greater than eight pounds or 24 inches during the 2024 calendar year also receive a catch kit, a decal for their vehicle or boat, a one-month subscription to Bass University, and an entry into the year-end Grand Prize Drawing to win a $5,000 Bass Pro Shops shopping spree.
ShareLunker entry classes include the Bass Pro Shops Lunker Class (8 lb.+), Strike King Elite Class (10 lb.+), and Lew’s Legend Class (13 lb.+).
