Local Anglers Break Concho River Records

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - The Inland Fisheries San Angelo District has announced pending waterbody records for both Black and White crappies in the Concho River, courtesy of local anglers Mason and Michael Schwartz.

Mason set a new record with his catch of a 1.4 lb., 12.5-inch Black Crappie.

Close behind, Michael submitted a White Crappie weighing 1.25 lb. and measuring 13.25 inches, also a record-setter for the river.

Pending verification, these catches will officially become the new waterbody records for Black and White crappies in the Concho River.
