Dense Fog & Rain Across West Texas Tuesday

SAN ANGELO – A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for West Texas until 10 a.m. Tuesday.  In West Central Texas, areas of fog, potentially dense at times, are forecasted to redevelop from this morning into the early afternoon. Caution is advised as visibility may drop to near zero intermittently.

Furthermore, widespread rain showers and a few embedded thunderstorms are anticipated to persist across the region throughout the morning and afternoon, with redevelopment expected overnight. While severe storms are not anticipated, there is a possibility of localized moderate to heavy rainfall and dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning.

There is a 90% chance of rain Tuesday and a 50% chance Tuesday night. The rain will end Wednesday and return to the area Friday.
