2024 ShareLunker Big Bass Program Bigger & Better

SAN ANGELO, TX - The Texas Parks and Wildlife's Toyota ShareLunker Program is back for 2024, offering anglers enticing incentives for their trophy largemouth bass catches.

The program, in collaboration with Bass Pro Shop, encourages anglers to contribute to selective breeding and stocking efforts.

According to the TPWD, anglers who reel in largemouth bass weighing 8 lbs. or more, measuring at least 24 inches, can participate in the Toyota ShareLunker Program.

By entering their catch details online or through the ShareLunker mobile app during the year-long season (January 1 through December 31), participants stand a chance to win a "Catch Kit" corresponding to their fish's weight class.

All confirmed ShareLunker participants will receive a Catch Kit, which includes an achievement decal, merchandise, and other exciting giveaways. Moreover, participants will be automatically entered into a grand prize drawing, where they could win a $5,000 Bass Pro Shop shopping spree along with other prizes.

For anglers landing 13 lb. or larger bass, there's an additional opportunity to make a significant contribution. These trophy bass can be loaned to the Toyota ShareLunker Program's selective breeding and stocking initiative until March 31.

Participants in this category not only support conservation efforts but also enter a drawing for a $5,000 shopping spree, VIP access to the Toyota ShareLunker Annual Awards event, and more.

Last year alone, 30 basses weighing 13 lbs. or more were landed by anglers.

For more details and to participate, anglers can visit the official Toyota ShareLunker website and familiarize themselves with the entry requirements.
