Fish Tale: Another Big Bass from O.H. Ivie

BALLINGER – At Ivie Reservoir, angler Mike Stanford recently contributed the 12.21-pound bass to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's ShareLunker program. This impressive catch, reeled in from O.H. Ivie Reservoir on November 6, 2023, earned Stanford the distinguished Elite status within the program.

With a longstanding history spanning decades, the ShareLunker program has been instrumental in capturing some of the largest bass ever recorded in Lake Ivie. This initiative, championed by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, aims to promote the documentation, research, and breeding of trophy-sized bass, fostering the conservation and enhancement of Texas's freshwater fisheries.
