Wet Cold Front Coming Thursday

 

SAN ANGELO – A strong cold front will blow into the Concho Valley early Thursday morning bringing much colder temperatures and much needed rain heading into Veteran's Day weekend. 

National Weather Service forecasters say that cold front will flow across the area early Thursday morning holding temperatures in the 50s and 60s at sunrise that will then drop to the mid 40s with rain throughout the day.  The system is expected to drop up to an inch of rain in places Thursday.  

There is an 80% chance of rain Thursday afternoon and a 50% chance Thursday night.  

Rain showers will end Friday morning and the area should remain mostly dry throughout the day.  Veterans Day Saturday will be slightly warmer with highs in the mid 60s and dry conditions before another cold front moves in Sunday bringing another chance for showers by Monday.  The rain chance Monday is 30%.
