TPWD Taking Public Input on 2024 Land & Water Plan

AUSTIN – The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is seeking public comments on the draft 2024 Land and Water Resources Conservation and Recreation Plan (Land and Water Plan), which is accessible at the following link: https://tpwd.texas.gov/publications/land-and-water-plan

The Land and Water Plan identifies goals, objectives, strategies, and measurable actions to be undertaken by TPWD over the next 10 years.

Earlier this year, TPWD solicited public feedback on the agency’s performance and priorities through an online survey. That input informed development of the draft 2024 Land and Water Plan. The questionnaire will be open for public comments on the draft 2024 Land and Water Plan thru September 30.

Once public comments have been reviewed and addressed by TPWD, a final version of the 2024 Land and Water Plan will be presented to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission for final review and approval at their November meeting.
