Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued for Tom Green County

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The National Weather Service in San Angelo has given out a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the eastern part of Tom Green County.

According to the NWS, on August 10, 2023, at around 7:45 p.m., there was a severe thunderstorm close to Wall that wasn't moving much. In addition to rain and lightning, winds of up to 60 mph were reported in that area.

The experts think that, given the storm's movement, it might reach Southern San Angelo and Lake Nasworthy by 8:30 p.m.

The warning has been pushed to 9 p.m.
