Last Catfish Stocking in the Concho River Downtown til After Labor Day

SAN ANGELO – The last 600 catfish to be stocked in the Concho River in downtown San Angelo hit the water Thursday according to the TPWD San Angelo District Inland Fisheries.

In a social media post Friday morning, Inland Fisheries said just a heads up to all our downtown San Angelo Concho River anglers, our typical allotment of 600+ 9-inch Channel Catfish was stocked yesterday (7/27) instead of today. So no need to wait on the truck, they are in there now, ready to be caught.

This will be the last stocking until September as we typically do not stock during the month of August. Have a great weekend!
