Junior Angler Lands Lake Record Bass at Spence

 

ROBERT LEE, TX – A junior angler caught a lake record bass at E.V. Spence Reservoir near Robert Lee over the weekend.  

According to the TPWD Inland Fisheries San Angelo, Levi Lumpkin submitted his catch for the pending junior waterbody record for E.V. Spence Reservoir. The Largemouth Bass weighed an even 6 lb. and was 22 inches long.

This catch surpasses Garret Sims previous junior record of a 5.5 lb. Largemouth Bass caught back in 2020.

According to a social media post, one of the Concho Bass Club Junior members set the New Lake Record Black bass Juniors Div. Last weekend over at Spence. Levi fished the Juniors and the Adult div. Young man had 4 fish for just under 15lbs was 4th place overall and won Juniors for the Month. BIG Congratulations going out to Levi!
