NWS: Wind Advisory Issued for 50 MPH Wind Gusts

 

SAN ANGELO – Strong, gusty south winds of 40 to 50 mph Monday afternoon prompted the National Weather Service office in San Angelo to issue a Wind Advisory through 7 a.m. Tuesday fore the Concho Valley.  

According to the NWS, sustained south winds of 25 to 35 mph will gust to between 40 and 50 mph across the Concho Valley and Big Country.  Winds this high will blow around unsecured objects especially for high profile vehicles.  

Look for low temperatures Monday night in the upper 40s with those strong gusty winds and highs in the upper 70s Tuesday afternoon.  

No precipitation is forecast until Thursday night.
