SAN ANGELO – A light freeze is possible across the northern Concho Valley just north of the City of San Angelo Saturday night into Sunday morning.

According to the National Weather Service office in San Angelo, that light freeze will be possible along and north of a line from Sterling City to Ballinger to Brownwood early Sunday morning.

Temperatures will drop to the lower 30s both Saturday night and Sunday night across the Concho Valley.  Winds will be east to northeast at 5 to 10 mph after midnight both nights.  Afternoon highs will reach the mid 50s.  Look for a warming trend by Tuesday.

No precipitation is expected over the next several days.

New plants and flowers will need to be protected, especially in rural and low lying areas.

There is a possibility of freezing temperatures again Sunday night into Monday morning as well.

The threat of severe weather is very low.
