NWS: Marginal Risk of Scattered Thunderstorms Friday Evening

 

SAN ANGELO – There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms across the Concho Valley and Edwards Plateau Friday evening.  

According to the National Weather Service office in San Angelo, there is a marginal chance of showers and thunderstorms to track across West Central Texas Friday evening mainly north of the I-10 corridor.

The primary threats will be damaging winds and large hail with the stronger storms.  

The rain chance is 30% between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m most areas will remain dry.  

Little or no measurable precipitation is expected.  

Look for temperatures to heat up above the 100 degree mark every afternoon for the next ten days.   

Expect Heat and Wildfire Danger advisories across the region during the same period.
