SAN ANGELO – A broad ridge of high pressure across West Texas will allow temperatures early this week to rise to record levels in the Concho Valley.
Meteorologists with the National Weather Service office in San Angelo say that ridge will allow temperatures Tuesday to reach or exceed daily high temperature records in the 80s. The record high temperature in San Angelo for Tuesday is 84 degrees.
A cold front will make its way through the region dropping temperatures to normal levels starting Wednesday.
There is no rain in the current forecast for the Concho Valley.
