SAN ANGELO, TX – Thunderstorms will pass through the Concho Valley throughout the day Sunday dumping heavy rain in places which could lead to flash flooding.
According to the National Weather Service office in San Angelo, the showers and thunderstorms will be widespread and thunderstorms could produce heavy rain. Any area experiencing heavy rain throughout the day could see flooding of low lying areas.
The main threats from the thunderstorms will be flooding and lightning.
There is a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms across the Concho Valley Sunday with high temperatures in the upper 80s. The rain chance drops to 20% Sunday night before rising to 40% again on Monday.
There is a chance for showers and thunderstorms each afternoon throughout the week.
Slow moving thunderstorms may cause localized flooding Sunday evening.
Repeated heavy rain throughout the week could cause flooding in low lying areas.
