Showers & Thunderstorms Could Lead to Flash Flooding Overnight

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Showers and Thunderstorms across the Concho Valley Sunday night could lead to street flooding in areas where heavy rainfall occurs.  

According to the National Weather Service office in San Angelo there is a 60 percent chance of rain Sunday evening and an 80 percent chance overnight into the early morning hours. If storms develop toward morning, the morning commute could include flooded streets and low lying areas in and around San Angelo. 

The main hazards overnight will be heavy rain which can produce flash flooding, brief high winds and occasional lightning. 

No severe weather is forecast at this time.
