BIG BEND, TX – If you’re planning a last minute summer trip to Big Bend National Park you need to take a mask.
Officials announced Wednesday that all visitors will have to wear masks inside all of Big Bend National Park’s buildings.
In a tweet from the Big Bend twitter account, it was said that Brewster County has a high transmission rate.
Should the transmission rate drop, it could change the stance on some of the restrictions.
This decision was based on the CDC and Department of the Interior’s stance on areas of high COVID-19 transmission.
