WATCH: Recent Rains Have North Concho River Flowing

SAN ANGELO. TX – Recent heavy rains in the North Concho river watershed have the river flowing in the middle of the San Angelo State Park.

The river had a small flow in the River Bend area of the State Park Saturday morning.

See the video below:

The flow is minimal and will fill some of the water holes in the river over the coming days.

Unfortunately, the flow is not enough to add water to O.C. Fisher reservoir.

As of Saturday, O.C. Fisher was 5.3% of capacity with 6,132 acre feet of water.  The reservoir is deep enough boaters could launch their craft from the boat ramp near the dam.  There were three or four boats on the water Saturday morning.
