SAN ANGELO, TX – The first full moon of 2021 is set to shine in the sky Thursday night.
According to NASA, The full moon of January, called the Wolf Moon, will occur on Jan. 28.
This moon is called the Wolf Moon. The name comes from native Americans who noted that wolves had grown hungry through the long winter. According to the Farmer's Almanac, the packs of wolves would howl outside Indian villages.
Tonight the skies will be partly cloudy but the moon will still be visible.
