High Winds Could Cause Power Outages Thursday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Gusty north winds could cause power outages across the Concho Valley Thursday. 

The National Weather Service office in San Angelo has issued a Wind Advisory for the Concho Valley including San Angelo through 4 p.m. 

Winds will be from the north at 25 to 35 mph with gusts over 40 mph at times. 

The high gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects and down tree limbs and even cause power outages.  

A Wind Advisory means winds of 30 to 39 mph with higher gusts are occurring.  The high winds could also make driving high profile vehicles dangerous.
