High Winds Elevate Wildfire Danger Tuesday

SAN ANGELO, TX – High winds forecast for Tuesday prompted the National Weather Service office in San Angelo to issue a wind advisory.

According to the NWS, the wind advisory is in effect Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Concho Valley and the Big Country.

Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are possible across the area because of wind speeds of 30 to 39 mph with higher gusts from the southwest combining with dry air.
