Earthquake Rattles Permian Basin Tuesday

 

MIDLAND, TX – A 2.3 magnitude earthquake rumbled parts of Midland and Martin counties late Tuesday evening.

According to the USGS, seismic activity was recorded at 9:34 p.m. approximately 12 km NNW of the Midland and Martin County line.

This is the fourth earthquake reported throughout the area in the last week alone.
