SAN ANGELO, TX – A former Permian Bass Club member and continuous state invitational angler Tuffy Woods from Mertzon, TX recently hauled in his personal best bass around 8 p.m. on Thursday Sept. 3 at Twin Buttes Reservoir.
Unofficially, Wood's bass was originally weighed in at 13.29 pounds and a length of 25.50 inches.
According to texassharelunker.com, the legendary fish was officially weighed into the Share Lunker program with Texas Parks and Wildlife at 13.15 pounds, recording a length of 25.75 inches.

Two days later, Christoval, TX resident Eddie Morris caught himself a nice bass which was officially weighed in at 9.25 pounds, recording a length of 23.75 inches by the State of Texas Share Lunker program with Texas Parks and Wildlife.
Morris' 9.25 pound lunker was reeled in off of Lake Leon in Eastland, Texas.
According to the state of Texas there have been 234 registered "ShareLunkers" entered into the Share Lunker program throughout 2020 with Texas Parks and Wildlife.
