Here's How to Dispose of Storm Debris

SAN ANGELO, TX – The City of San Angelo and Republic Services are working to help residents dispose of debris from the rogue storms Saturday.

According to the city, Republic Services and the City of San Angelo are continuing efforts in removing debris from last Saturday’s storm.

These efforts will continue through the next couple of weeks as Republic provides bulk pickup on limbs and small debris placed in accordance with the bulk pickup guidelines. Guidelines can be found at cosatx.us/SolidWaste. City crews will follow with any limbs and debris not collected during Republic’s bulk collection route. We ask that citizens please cut tree limbs in 4-foot lengths and bundle them if possible.

The citizen’s free dumping program at the landfill (3002 Old Ballinger Highway) can be used for construction debris (roofs, etc.) that exceeds the bulk collections limits. To utilize this program, please have your most recent municipal services statement (your water bill) and a valid ID with a name and address that matches the name and service address on the statement. For more information on the landfill, visit cosatx.us/Landfill.

Those signed up for paperless billing can print their water bill to utilize the citizen’s free dumping program at the landfill. There is a designation on the paperless printout that shows proof the citizen is signed up for paperless billing.
