Crews Battle Pipeline Explosion Outside of Midkiff Tuesday Morning

MIDLAND, TX - The Midland Fire Department responded to the report of a fire following an explosion that occurred in Midkiff just off of FM 1379 early Tuesday morning.

According to city spokeswoman, a large pipeline ruptured near an electrical substation.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
