NWS: Chance of Severe Thunderstorms Friday Night

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – There is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms tonight, along and north of Big Lake to San Angelo to Brownwood line.

A storm complex is expected to move from west to east tonight, with the Big Country and northern Concho Valley having the best potential for storms.

Large hail and damaging winds are the main hazards.

There is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 71. Breezy, with a south southeast wind 10 to 20 mph becoming east northeast after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
