NWS: Critical Fire Danger Tuesday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Critical fire weather conditions are possible Tuesday across portions of the western Concho Valley and northern Edwards Plateau due to gusty northwest winds and very dry conditions.

Gusty northwest winds behind a cold front are bringing some blowing dust into the Big Country and Concho Valley this morning.

Visibility will drop to a few miles in some locations and may make for more difficult driving conditions across the area.

The forecast calls for sunny skies with a high near 95. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
