Concho Bass Club to Host 6th Annual Spring Fling

SAN ANGELO, TX – Concho Bass Club is hosting their 6th Annual Spring Fling on the weekend of June 27 which is set to include a bass fishing tournament, Big Bass Contest, and a raffle for $1,000.00 cash.

Alos, a kids division has been added to the lineup of events this year for families looking to get children involved.

Anglers fishing from Lake Nasworthy, Twin Buttes Reservoir, and O.C Fisher (with valid fishing permits) will be going head to head in a bass fishing tournament with a cash prize of $1,200 awarded to the winner!

All fishing locations will be off limits to contestants from 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 26th through 6:30 a.m. Saturday, June 27th.

Registration for the tournament is scheduled to start at noon until 10:00 p.m. Friday the 26th.

Entry Fees:

• 16 & Up - $100 per person; includes a 5 bass limit (14"-18" slot in effective Lake Nasworthy), Big Bass pot included.

• 15 & Under - $20 per person, includes entry prizes instead of cash payouts

Paypal is accepted and contestants wishing to pay via PayPal are asked to contact a board member to designate the lake they will be fishing from. Failure to designate a fishing location before the start time will void entry with no refunds available. 

Tournament Times:  

  (Saturday & Sunday) :

• Start - 6:30

• Lines Out -  3:00 p.m (in line for weigh-in) 

• Weigh-in   -  4:00 p.m. 

Cash prizes for the Bass Tournament include:

• 1st Place - $1,200

• 2nd Place - $600

• 3rd Place - $400

• 4th Place - $200

• 5th Place - $100

Big Bass Contest includes:

• 1st and 2nd place take a 60/40 split of pot

• $10 entry fee that funds the pot 

Raffle Drawing prizes include:

• $1,000.00 Cash

• Guided Bass Fishing Trip for Two w/ Capt. Rick 

• Smith & Wesson .380

• Third Coast Arbor 100 Kayak
