Rain an Much Cooler Temps in the Concho Valley Friday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - Showers and thunderstorms are blowing through San Angelo and the Concho Valley Friday morning bringing the threat of street flooding. 

According to the National Weather Service office in San Angelo, scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop this morning across West Central Texas.

The precipitation was moving northeast at 25 mph. Rainfall amounts should range from a tenth to 0.30 inches of rain. Beware of dangerous cloud to ground lightning strikes on your morning commute.

Scattered thunderstorms expected across West Central Texas through today.

Dangerous cloud to ground lightning is the main hazard. Elevated Fire Weather Conditions are possible this afternoon mainly north of a line from Sterling City to Abilene.

Watch for minor flooding across the Concho Valley during the morning commute.
