NWS: Severe Thunderstorm Watch Until Midnight

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until midnight for Tom Green County and most of West Central Texas.

A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this evening. Large hail, damaging winds, and cloud to ground lightning will be the main hazards with these storms. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are sufficient for severe thunderstorms to develop.

The NWS will issue further information and instructions as weather conditions change.

This is a developing situation.
