Latest Batch of Cold Weather Breaks 92-Year-Old Record

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- This latest arctic cold front brought about a new record low for March 5, the National Weather Service in San Angelo announced.

The NWS on Twitter announced that a low temperature of 15 degrees was recorded at Mathis Field, breaking the old record of 17 degrees last reached in 1927.

Those expecting relief from the cold weather are in luck, though. The forecasted high for Tuesday is expected to climb to 46 degrees with highs eventually reaching 77 degrees by Thursday according to the forecast.
