SAN ANGELO, TX-- The National Weather Service said that San Angelo received a record daily rainfall amount on Sunday.
The NWS said their San Angelo station received 2.30 inches of rain. That mark broke a 67-year-old record of 2.05 inches set back in 1951.
While San Angelo got some relief from the rain, more is forecast for the Concho Valley through Monday and Tuesday.
San Angelo wasn't the only area to get soaked, as Menard saw four inches of rain and the San Saba river near Menard got over five hours.
Rain chances Monday are at 90% and Tuesday is forecast at 40%.
