Iran Fires Missiles Targeting U.S. Bases in Qatar, Iraq

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The United States is tracking multiple missiles fired from Iran toward U.S. military installations in Qatar and Iraq, according to two officials familiar with the situation.

The Pentagon confirmed that Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the largest U.S. military installation in the Middle East, is among the sites being monitored for potential impact. U.S. officials said missiles may also be targeting facilities in Iraq, though specific locations have not been publicly confirmed.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine are currently in the White House Situation Room, according to a White House official.

A senior administration source said the White House and Department of Defense are coordinating closely as they continue to assess threats and track missile trajectories.

This missile strike comes on the heels of America entering the Israel-Iran War on Sunday, when the U.S. successfully decimated three Iranian nuclear facilities.
