Two companies announced a new partnership to help military families with home loans and mortgage lending reviews, said a press relase Tuesday.
PCSgrades offers ratings and reviews exclusively by military families, for military families experiencing a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) relocation.
Federal Savings Bank is owned and operated by veterans with the goal to help other veterans on their path to home ownership through safe and sound leading.
The partnership of these two companies will provide education on VA Loan options for military families and veterans.
“We’re excited to work with David Piatek and The Federal Savings Bank to help educate our military families about their options when they’re asked to relocate,” said Tony Straw, COO of PCSgrades. “With the concern that some companies are simply trying to take advantage of the military family’s hard earned dollar, we aim to provide options, transparency, and peace of mind during this process.”
Headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, PCSgrades is expanding their database nationwide, with more than 200 realtors reviewed around the country, and features hundreds of reviews on neighborhoods in and around military installations. The Federal Savings Bank and Piatek are the first nationwide lender and banker that have signed up to be reviewed on the new platform.
“Being a Guardsman, as well as a Vice President at The Federal Savings Banks, gives me personal knowledge about the challenges that all military and family members face when trying to purchase a home,” said Piatek, Vice President of The Federal Savings Bank who currently serves as an Illinois Guardsman. “Our goal is to educate and provide resources to fellow brothers, sisters, and family members so they are less stressed during the loan process and can focus more on their duties.”
Todd Ernst, CEO of PCSgrades added, “Now when a military member or veteran visits PCSgrades.com because of an upcoming move, not only can [he or she] pick from hundreds of experienced military friendly realtors who give rebates, or read reviews on neighborhoods at a given area, [he or she will] also have access to an amazing team at The Federal Savings Bank to help [him or her] through the loan process no matter where [he or she is] located.”
The partnership coincides with The Federal Savings Bank and Federal Home Bank of Chicago’s rollout of their new Downpayment Plus® Program, which will offer qualifying military members and veterans up to $5,000 towards the purchase of a home in 2016 (terms and conditions apply).
Service members, their families and interested partners can learn more about our new partnership as well as sign up for additional information at PCSgrades.com.
