A Real Kangaroo Visits San Angelo LIVE! Offices

SAN ANGELO, TX — A real, live Kangaroo was in the offices of San Angelo LIVE! on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023. The "joey" as baby kangaroos are called was here to promote the Cowboy Christmas in San Angelo, Texas, scheduled for Saturday, December 2, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The event will take place at The Downtown Stockyards, situated at 108 E. Concho Avenue. Scooby Roo will be there along with many other types of animals in a petting zoo.

Scooby Roo is a member of the animal clan mothered by Kresta Thomas who owns two companies, Kountry Korrals and Pony Pals. Thomas presents a petting zoo for events big and small, from carnivals to birthday parties, around the region. She takes care of dozens of a variety of different animals on her spread north of the city that are a part of her traveling petting zoo exhibits. Scooby Roo is the newest addition.
