Dr. Vretis: First Hump of COVID-19 is Over

SAN ANGELO, TX – Public Health Authority Dr. James Vretis gave an update on COVID-19 in Tom Green County on Tuesday.

In the video above Vretis goes over how San Angelo is already over the first "hump" of the coronavirus. He did reiterate though that this does not mean that this is over. 

With school starting Dr. Vretis wanted to remind everyone a few tips on how to stay safe. 

 

  • Stay home when possible
  • #MaskUpTexas
  • Stay 6 feet from others
  • Wash your hands often
  • If sick, get tested then stay home
  • Clean and disinfect your surroundings
  • Cover coughs and sneezes
  • Don't touch your face
