Coronavirus: Shannon Daily Video Update

SAN ANGELO, TX – Today's Shannon Medical Center Coronavirus update was about not only who could be tested COVID-19 but how much does the test cost. 

Coronavirus testing has been one of the biggest needs as COVID-19 has spread throughout the entire state. With testing comes the cost of the test. 

"Our mission is to care for the people of our community." said CEO Shane Plymell. "No one is turned away for evaluation at these sites."

For people with insurance it will be the same procedures as a typical doctors visit. Shannon also claims that people without insurance can still be tested and that they will work with the state and federal government to seek funding. They will still bill you if you are not eligible for the free testing program.
