SAN ANGELO, TX — Shriners Children’s Texas has established a new pediatric specialty clinic in partnership with Shannon Health Clinic in San Angelo. In offering the clinic, Shriners Children’s seeks to increase access to their pediatric services, as well as reduce the travel burden for west Texas families in need of initial or follow-up care.
As part of the new initiative, Shriners Children’s Texas will initially conduct a clinic focused on providing pediatric orthopedic care. The clinics will be staffed by medical teams traveling to San Angelo from their Shriners Children’s Texas facility in Galveston.
Shriners Children’s Texas and Shannon Health facilities will gather to officially launch the pediatric clinic. Representatives from Shriners Children’s Texas will join area Shannon Health leadership for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on an initiative that will see Shriners medical teams provide pediatric orthopedic care to new and established patients from throughout west Texas and the surrounding region.
