Shannon Health System Officials will Host a Public Meeting on What's Happening with the Shannon South Campus

 

SAN ANGELO – Shannon Medical Center this month will host a public meeting explaining the changes in services that will be happening at the Shannon South hospital location on the corner of Knickerbocker Rd. and Sunset Dr.

According to a press release, SMC will host a public meeting regarding its Certificate of Public Advantage (COPA) on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. at Shannon Medical Center in the second floor Legacy Conference Room, located at 120 E. Harris Ave in San Angelo.

The meeting will provide an overview of the positive changes and new services Shannon implemented over the last year as a result of the COPA and integration with the Shannon South Campus.

It will also provide a look at future plans to expand access for local patients. The meeting is open to anyone within the Shannon service area. Participants will have an opportunity to provide comments during the meeting.
