Weekend COVID-19 Report Yields Good Signs for Tom Green County

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Only 35 new COVID-19 infections were reported over the weekend in Tom Green County.

The following is the full COVID-19 report over the weekend of Feb. 19-21 by the San Angelo Health Department:

Total infections over last three days: 35

  • Saturday: 8
  • Sunday: 10
  • Monday: 17 

Feb. 21, 2022, COVID-19 report 

  • Total positive infections: 40,749
  • Active infections: 328
  • Currently hospitalized patients: 16
  • New positives infections: 17
  • New fatalities: 2
    • Male, 60s, Tom Green County: fully vaccinated
    • Male, 70s, Tom Green County: fully vaccinated
  • Total fatalities in Tom Green County: 539 (347 from Tom Green County and 192 from other counties) 

Feb. 20, 2022, COVID-19 report 

  • Total positive infections: 40,732
  • Active infections: 316
  • Currently hospitalized patients: 16
  • New positives infections: 10
  • New fatalities: 0

Feb. 19, 2022, COVID-19 report

  • Total positive infections: 40,722
  • Active infections: 308
  • Currently hospitalized patients: 15
  • New positives infections: 8
  • New fatalities: 0
