San Angelo Health Officials Report over 4,000 Active Covid-19 Infections & 2 Fatalities

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Active COVID-19 infections in Tom Green County continue to skyrocket as the city reported another 151 infections.

According to the City of San Angelo's Health Department, as of Tuesday, 4,019 citizens of Tom Green County are currently infected with COVID-19. Tom Green County has a population of 119,200.

Also today the health department reported two deaths; Male, 70s, Concho County: fully vaccinated
- Female, 60s, Tom Green County: unvaccinated. This brings the total death count to 506 with 322 being residents of Tom Green County.

Of the over 4,000 infected patients only 82 of them are hospitalized. 

Since the pandemic there have been 39,967 reported infection in Tom Green County.
