Campaign Officials Confirm Dan Patrick Contracted Covid-19 Last Week

AUSTIN, TX –– More than a week after testing positive for Covid-19, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick's re-election campaign has finally informed his constituents.

According to campaign senior advisor Allen Blakemore, last week the lieutenant governor experienced mild symptoms –– prompting him to get tested.

"His symptoms were mild and no one else in the household was infected," said Blakemore. "He continues working from home and will return to a public schedule by the end of the week."

While the exact timeline has not been released, Blackemore stated Patrick has since tested negative and is currently quarantining.

Patrick has been vaccinated and has received the booster.
