Covid-19 Community Safety Level Drops in Abilene

 

ABILENE, TX –– As Covid-19 infections continue to drop in Taylor County, Henrick Health's COVID-19 Community Safety Dial has dropped to a new level.

According to the hospital, the community is at Level 3: High Risk. The new determination was done after the seven-day community positivity rate and the positive case trended downward.

The hospital is reporting 19 patients hospital patients in Abilene and 2 in Brownwood –– with 16 of the 21 described as not being fully vaccinated.

The change will not impact the visitation policies currently in place.
