Additional Covid Fatalities & Infections Reported in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX –– The San Angelo Health Department is reporting 17 new Covid-19 infections Wednesday.

According to the report, the vast majority of cases were found in adult patients.

Below is the daily COVID-19 report:

October 20, 2021

  • Total positive cases: 24,797
  • Active cases: 293
  • Currently hospitalized: 23
  • New positives for today: 17 

The report also indicated two additional COVID-19 related fatalities.

The patients were identified as:

  • Male, 70s, Coke County (Partially Vaccinated)
  • Male, 40s, Tom Green County 3 (Unvaccinated)

This brings the total COVID-19-related death count in Tom Green County to 456: 295 from Tom Green County and 161 from other counties.
